Daniel Maldonado (1940-2019)

At the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame Art Show in November, 1984, Daniel Maldonado won the coveted Gold Award in watercolor. His original caught the attention of American Masters Foundation.
His use of open space and his studies of natural light make us feel that we, too, are out in the open air. He also fills our senses with his warm colors, setting, and use of light that draws us not only to his Indian scenes but to his other landscapes and nature scenes as well.

"I do it because I love to paint. I've got an idea and I've got to get it down", Daniel says "As long as I can see and I have the ability to paint, I'll paint.
